We create timeless home fragrances to spark joy in your everyday. Inspired by joyful memories and the simple things in life, we handcraft each piece from our studio in The Beach, Toronto.

Our Studio

We make each candle, reed diffuser, and room spray by hand from our studio in The Beach (aka the Beaches), a charming Toronto neighbourhood known for its small-town vibe and beautiful beaches on the shores of Lake Ontario.

We love knowing that what we make with our hands makes its way to you at home, to be used in your everyday and shared with friends and family.

Meet Christina

Our Founder, Christina, was tired of using candles and home fragrance products that left her with headaches and allergic reactions. She wanted to create safe and beautiful products using functional fragrances that help others feel good.

With her nose for fragrance and a strict list of ingredients she wouldn't use, she followed her dream, launching Brightfield and creating non-toxic products designed to spark joy in your everyday.

Our artisan-crafted candles, reed diffusers, and room sprays have helped Christina and her customers feel good in their homes and go from stressed to joyful.

Made in Canada

1 Candle = 3 Meals Donated

From every candle sold, we donate to Second Harvest, giving 3 meals to those who need it.

We are passionate about helping people and our planet, and we proudly support Second Harvest's mission to keep food where it belongs: On plates and out of landfills.

Second Harvest is Canada’s largest food rescue organization and is a global thought leader on perishable food redistribution. Second Harvest supports millions of Canadians experiencing food insecurity and hunger and we are proud to support them in this important work.

1% for the Planet member

Since day one we have been a proud 1% for the Planet member.

We donate at least 1% of all sales to environmental and social charities every year and our charitable giving is certified externally by 1% for the Planet.

Land acknowledgement

Our studio operates on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee (Iroquois), and Ojibway/Chippewa. Our community is still home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to live and work on this land.
